Meet Lauren. Lauren is the brain and one-woman show behind W'Menswear. After blogging behind the moniker Ponytail Journal for years, Lauren launched W'Menswear as a testament to a style heavily influenced by vintage workwear and menswear but specifically made for women - filling the gap for a much-needed women's brand rooted in classic and heritage design to help you live the funnest life possible.
Below take a peek into the W'Menswear studio while ya get to know Lauren.

Did You Go to University? What'd You Study?
Yep! I went to Art school and I majored in photography with a splash of Architectural history in the mix.
What Did You Do Before PTJ and W'Menswear?
Before PTJ I was a full time model and doing lots of side projects for fun like doing programming for a corporate gallery, making art, and playing music for bands and film scores.
If You're Not Working, Where Are You?
I'm probably skating around my neighbourhood, cooking, or in the garden scheming how to protect my vegetables from the inevitable upcoming frosts.
Where Do You Source Some of Your Inspiration From?
Without fail, I'm at a flea market every weekend. It's like a tradition in my house, and so Sundays are spent driving around the countryside of Northern France hopping from one flea to the next. Not only am I exposed to a wonderfully diverse range of vintage and sometimes antique clothing, but I find that the books, records, and even objects like old matchboxes have so much to tell me. I suppose if all that I'm trying to achieve goes down the drain I would be more than equipped to open a vintage store! (just joking).
What Does "Goodness in the Everyday" Mean to You?
Things we often take for granted in everyday life that make existence so very sweet.
